Recent Contributions
to the Capital Campaign
Our capital
campaign began with contributions from the
Executive Council members as well as a number of
active members of the Delaware Academy of
Science and friends of the Iron Hill Museum.
Early on we also received a $25,000 development
grant from the Welfare Foundation and an in kind
donation from Remline Company for a descriptive
brochure of the project. In time we received a
contribution from New Castle County Government
of $1,000,000. Recently we have received
contributions of $25,000 from the Crystal Trust
and $5,000 from the BHF Foundation.
We need an
additional $1,320,000 for phase I of the project
and $250,000 for the school house restoration. |
